The embittered Director of Finance and Administration of the New Patriotic Party has promised to break into what used to be his office at the head quarters of the opposition party.
In a rambo-style fashion, Opare Hammond has promised to go back to the head quarters on Wednesday, break into the office of finance and continue working as a substantive Director of Finance.
Mr. Hammond was asked to proceed on leave under controversial circumstances after which a new person was appointed to act in his stead.
He said the lock to his office was changed after the appointment.
According to him the party's constitutional committee met on the matter of his dismissal, with the then chairman of the committee Ayikoi Otoo describing his dismissal as illegal.
He said the committee asked the Afoko-led administration to resolve the matter amicably and charged three leading members of the party- Fredua Antoh, Kwabena Agyepong and the party's treasurer to see to it that the issue was resolved.
Opare Hammond said he then personally wrote to the party asking a few weeks out on leave which was granted.
He was therefore shocked by a press conference organised by the party Chairman and General Secretary Thursday, accusing him of fraud.
The party Chairman Paul Afoko at that press conference alleged, Mr. Hammond was dismissed after several acts of fraud were detected.
That allegation has angered Mr. Opare Hammond. He said the allegations were trumped up.
He told Joy News he is still the substantive Director of Finance and Administration and to demonstrate that, he would march to the party office on Wednesday to resume duty.
"When I go, I will demand access to my office. When I am prevented I will be forced to bring in carpenters to break into the office so I resume duty, Mr. Hammond warned.
"I am the Director of Finance, it is on the National Executive Council that can remove me from office," he indicated.
