Two students who attempted to force their way into queues formed at a polling station in Cape Coast have been arrested.
Joy News’ correspondents say the students, from the University of Cape Coast, had tried joining the queues after 5 pm when no one was supposed to join in.
Security personnel at the polling station are said to have resisted their action, resulting in a verbal exchange.
The Central Regional Minister Nana Ato Arthur had to be called in to restore order.
He is said to have requested the release of the two were in the custody of the police.
