Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, President of Liberia, arrived in Ghana, Sunday afternoon.
The Liberian leader would meet with President John Evans Atta Mills, for some discussions.
President Johnson-Sirleaf would leave Ghana later in the day for Doha, Qarter, to attend a conference on extractive industries.
Mr. Mahama Ayariga, Press Secretary and Presidential Spokes Person, told journalists at the Kotoka International Airport, Accra, that the Liberian President’s visit was the first to Ghana since President Mills assumed the presidency.
At the airport to welcome President Johnson-Sirleaf was Mr. John Dramani Mahama, Vice President of Ghana, senior government officials and members of the diplomatic corps.
