Eximguaranty Company Ghana Ltd, Ghana’s leading credit guaranty company, has donated cash and agric related products including Knapsack sprayers, wellington boots and rubber gloves all worth GHC 5,000 to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture in support of the 2014 National Farmers Day’s celebration.
The donation forms part of Exim’s continued support to developing Ghana’s agricultural sector for jobs and wealth creation as well as promoting sustainable food security for the country. Exim has for the past 20 years provided credit guarantees to promote SMEs in the Agricultural sector.
In a brief Presentation ceremony, Mr Anthony Dwumah , Head of Operations and Mr. Frank Oduro, Head of Marketing of Eximguaranty, donated the items on behalf of the Company to Hon. Dr Ahmed Yakubu Alhasssan, Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture. The Deputy Minister received the items on behalf of the Organisers of the National Farmers Day secretariat.
On behalf of the Ministry of Food & Agriculture, Dr. A. Y. Alhassan thanked Eximguaranty for the donation and encouraged other corporate bodies to support the Ministry by way of donations to make this year’s event a success.
