Mr Ben Kwakye-Adeefe, former Amansie West District Chief Executive (DCE), has expressed gratitude to the people especially traditional rulers and heads of department in the district for their unflinching support during his eight year tenure.
The former DCE accompanied by some New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency Executives has been calling on opinion leaders and certain individuals to thank them for their support during his administration.
During a Courtesy call on Nana Bi-Kusi Appiah II, Paramount Chief of Manso-Nkwanta Traditional Area and Nana Nyarko Abora II, Queen mother of the area on Monday, Mr Kwakye-Adeefe thanked them for their prayers, guidance and advice.
The Omanhene said the DCE has left an indelible mark through his achievements and commended him for his sterling leadership qualities.
He described the former DCE as selfless, hard working, respectful and somebody who took their criticisms in good faith to enhance the socio-economic development of the district.
Mr Kwakye-Adeefe was full of praise to the media for the wonderful exposure which contributed in making the district one of the successful ones in the country.
He commended the district police administration for their support and cooperation in the maintenance of law and order which promoted peace in the area.
The former DCE expressed his appreciation to the former President John Agyekum Kufuor for giving him the opportunity to serve his community, Asanteman and Ghana as a whole, saying that he was prepared to serve his community in whatever capacity even in the opposition.
He was also grateful to all NPP members and sympathizers for their support of his administration in contributing successfully to the Kufuor-led administration.
