Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) has presented assorted products to the Kwahu traditional council ahead of the funeral celebration of Kwahuhene, Nana Akuamoah Boateng II at Kwahu Ahenkro-Abene in the Eastern Region.
Speaking at the presentation, Solomon Affum, Head of Spirits Capability said, Guinness Ghana believes in living our Ghanaian tradition.
"We have shared in your joy throughout Kwahu Easter and other festivals. Now it is time to mourn with Kwahuman for the great loss they have suffered. Our brands have been at the heart and centre of celebrations in this community", he said.
He said the late Kwahuhene was instrumental in making Guinness Ghana comfortable in the Kwahu township.
"Through his handiwork, we have been able to provide employment for people in the community and we keep expanding. We hope this token will go a long way to make the celebration of his legacy memorable for all. We will also be present to offer any other support required to make the funeral a success” he concluded.
GGBL donated over 50 cases of an assortment of drinks including Ruut Extra Premium Beer, Gilbey’s Gin, Guinness FES and Malta Guinness.
Receiving the drinks, Nana Oti Akenteng Frimpong Ansong II, Kwahu Ahenemahene thanked Guinness Ghana for the support and added, “we have witnessed the immense contribution GGBL has made in this town. We ask for God’s blessings on the business and pray that it grows from strength to strength. GGBL is always welcomed to Kwahu, be it Easter, Christmas or any other festive season.”
As part of the presentation, the brewery giant also introduced their new Malt based drink, Top Malt to the chiefs.
