MP for Okere, Hon. Dan Botwe wants President Mills to review the GT-Vodafone Deal in fulfillment of his election promise.
Speaking on Peace FM’s Morning Show, “Kokrokoo”, Hon Botwe said “we want to know President Mills’ time of action or when he will review the deal because he promised to do so in his campaign tour”.
He added that President Mills cannot lie to Ghanaians just because he wanted votes, explaining that if President Mills now sees there is nothing to review, then he should come out and apologise to Ghanaians that he did not know what he was saying.
Speaking on the show, Dan Botwe expressed his total support for the Committee for Joint Action (CJA)’s press conference on Wednesday, April 22, which demanded that President Mills should reduce fuel prices. Dan Botwe insisted it was a promise and he must fulfill it.
He indicated that he would have been surprised if the CJA had not protested against some actions of President Mills, especially the fuel prices, because they collaborated with him to demonstrate against the NPP government and promised fuel prices would be reduced “drastically” if President Mills and NDC were voted into power.
