The Institute of Local Government Studies is one of the latest institutions to roll out measures, on its part to curb the spread of the infectious COVID-19.
Management of the institute in a statement issued on Tuesday indicated that all conferences, workshops and classroom training at the institute has been suspended indefinitely.
It added that virtual learning platforms will be deployed to facilitate engagements with intended audiences.
“Suspension of all social events including wedding and funeral receptions within the institute’s premises.”
