Singer Shatta Wale has donated assorted items including food, drinks and water to inmates of various police stations across the national capital.
The multiple award-winning musician also donated an undisclosed amount of money to help with the upkeep of the inmates as the country battles Covid-19.

The donation is to help the inmates in the difficult time when government has declared a partial lockdown in some cities across the country, representatives of the 'Borjor' hitmaker said.

The singer said it is unlikely the inmates will have their friends and family visiting them with some essential items they will need to go through the period.
