East Cantonments Pharmacy (ECP) has donated ¢100,000 to the Covid-19 National Trust Fund.
This gesture forms part of the pharmacy’s contribution to the national program to combat the spread and harsh impact of the novel coronavirus on the country and the business community.
Presenting the cheque to the Trustees, Head of sales and marketing for East Cantonments Pharmacy, Ebenezer Holmes-Graves expressed the commitment of the pharmaceutical company to joining forces with the government to deal with the spread of the Coronavirus.

“We are also responding to humanity to support the current crisis facing the country in addition to our previous distribution of PPEs to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Ridge Hospital as well at the Tema General Hospital,” he stated.
Receiving the cheque on behalf of the Board of Trustees for the Covid-19 National Trust Fund, its Chairperson, Sophia Akuffo, former Chief Justice expressed her profound gratitude to ECP Ltd for the donation.
“My assurance to you is that the money will be used for its intended purpose. On behalf of the government and members of the Trustees, we say Thank You.”

The COVID-19 National Trust Fund; a Public Trust was established and inaugurated by the President Akufo-Addo to receive contributions and donations from the public.
It is aimed at helping the government meet the welfare needs of the vulnerable and needy in the country especially during the partial lockdown in the Greater Accra and Greater Kumasi Metropolitan Areas.
