Although the coronavirus has impacted on the plans many may have had for Mother’s Day, celebrities did not letting the day go by without showing appreciation to the women in their lives.
They took to their social media handles to pay tributes to their wives, mothers, daughters and themselves as part of their Mother’s Day celebration.
Actress Nadia Buari took to Instagram to share a video of herself and her mother dancing to a TikTok routine.
“A woman like no other. Always my mother, forever my best friend. ❤,” she wrote.
Emelia Brobbey shared a photo of her mother on Instagram, wishing her and others a happy Mother’s Day.
Ace broadcaster Gifty Anti shared a photo of herself and her husband from the day she gave birth to her daughter.
She prayed the Almighty grants the wishes of other women looking for children of their own.
Wife of the Vice President Samira Bawumia, praised all mothers for the love and selflessness they exhibit.
John Dumelo celebrated his wife and his mother on Sunday. He stated that they make motherhood look easy although it is not a simple job.
Kwaw Kese gave his wife a car and also urged her to go have fun with the kids as his way of celebrating her.
Stonebwoy celebrated his wife on Instagram with the caption “to CJ and JJ’s Mummy. God Bless You!!!”
He also had a statute of his mother to celebrate her as well.
Actress Nana Ama Mcbrown also took to Instagram to share a picture of herself and her daughter, Maxin. “Mothers make the World beautiful. Happy mothers day to WOMEN around the Globe,” she captioned her post.
Rapper Strongman also celebrated his longtime girlfriend Nana Ama with whom he has his first child, Simona. He shared a photo of Nana Ama in the hospital on the day their kid was born.
The ‘Pilolo’ hitmaker also shared a photo of his mother holding Simona with the caption, "mummy , my love, my superhero, Happy Mother’s Day ❤️ I’m Proud of You Adwoa Ashia.”

Gospel singer Joe Mettle to celebrating his mother prayed she is granted long life and good health by the Almighty.
"Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers. We love you and appreciate all you’ve done and continue to do for us," he added to his post.
