Highlife singer Bisa Kdei says both KiDi and Accra FM benefitted from the unfortunate incident which saw the former sacked from the radio station.
KiDi who’s currently running a media tour across the country to promote his new EP; BLUE, was dismissed by Accra-based radio station, Accra FM.
According to reports, he arrived at the station 25 minutes after the arranged time, triggering the host of the show to chastise him on live radio
Since the incident happened, the singer has had to endure several trolls on social media, and critiques from industry persons.
The latest to comment on the issue is Bisa K Dei and in an interview with George Quaye on Showbiz A-Z on Joy FM, the ‘Mansa’ hitmaker said, “It happened to me too but I had a problem with my car so we kept calling the producer to let him know we were going to be late.
"I asked if I could talk to the fans and apologise to the listeners and even asked that we reschedule. But he refused,” he said.
He also commended KiDi for apologising.
“Things like this, an apology is the best way to go about it. Even though the interview is going to help the artiste, it’s going to also help the radio station, so it’s always best to let the artiste express himself.”
