Petrosol Ghana, a privately-owned Ghanaian Oil Marketing Company (OMC) has donated some items to the Chamber of Petroleum Consumers-Ghana (COPEC).
At a ceremony held in Accra, the Head of Marketing and Strategy of Petrosol Ghana, Mr Kwasi Zigah presented an undisclosed sum of money, fuel vouchers and nose masks to the Chamber.

“We know that their [COPEC] activities require a lot of logistics and they need support to do what they have been doing. So we are here to lend support that we share in what you are doing. We are here with an amount of money, fuel vouchers, and undisclosed quantities of nose masks to support them to continue to do what they are doing in the interest of the Ghanaian fuel consumer.
As an OMC that prides itself in giving the Ghanaian fuel consumer value for money, the Head of Marketing took the opportunity to advise Ghanaians not to consider the price of the product they are buying at the expense of quality.

“We have noticed that people at the [fuel] pump want to pay more attention to the price than quality and quantity, but value is holistic. Anytime you go to the fuel station to buy fuel, it is actually value you want to buy. So you need to look at the quality, you want to check the quantity and also you need to check price. The three are important”.
The items were received by Mr Duncan Amoah, the Executive Secretary of COPEC on behalf of the Chamber.
