Sarkodie is using his new song 'Gimme Way' to address the the fake United Nations (UN) award scheme he got entangled with.
The rapper was given an award by the self-acclaimed global ambassador ‘Dr’ Kwame Owusu Fordjour, popularly known as Dr UN.
The awards show titled the Global Blueprint Excellence Award, held on August 28, at the Alisa Hotel, according to Dr UN, was to celebrate people's achievements.
Other celebrities who were also awarded include D-Black, Berla Mundi, Johnnie Hughes, Dr Okoe Boye, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Nathaniel Attoh, SK Boafo, Chairman Wontumi and others.
However, after some investigations it was revealed that the award scheme had no relations with the UN as Mr Fordjour had claimed.
After suffering teasing from Twitter users and trolls, Sarkodie in Gimme Way said the saga was a bad situation he found himself in.
"I thought I was a hard guy until Dr UN gave me an empty bottle as an award. The day I will meet him unless I smack him."
He added that if he had stayed home he could have been "making love to Tracy [SIC]. "
