There has been sporadic shooting on Friday dawn at about 2 am in Kpatinga in the Gushegu Municipality in the Northern Region.
Part of the Chief palaces has been burnt.
It is unclear the immediate cause for this latest incidence but Kpatinga has been in the news for sometime now over a chieftaincy dispute.
The dispute led to the killing of several people last year and displacing hundreds of others.
This disrupted life in the area leading to the closure of schools and the health center.
The shooting which has started again according to an eyewitness has forced many residents to stay indoors bringing live to a halt in the area.
The Northern Regional Crime Officer who spoke to Joy News said the regional command is in touch with their men on the ground but are yet to ascertain the facts.
