The Paramount Chief of Afife traditional area, Togbega Drakpanya VI has applauded President Akufo-Addo for exhibiting good leadership in his administration.
According to Togbega Drakpanya VI, the Afife Traditional Council within the Ketu North District of the Volta Region has monitored and observed the government and are pleased by its actions.
"We want to say without any reservation that you are a great and visionary leader and by your excelling leadership, you have changed the face of leadership in this country.
"We see in you a competent and compassionate president," he said.
As a result, the traditional council conferred the chieftaincy honorary title, Togbe Gyigbode Dunenyo Fiaga I to His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo during his three-day working visit to the Volta and Oti Regions on Tuesday.
Togbega Drakpanya VI stated that Afife traditional area in Ketu North District has received a fair share of growth and significant change from the developmental policies instituted by the government.
He indicated that contracts have been awarded for the completion of two 12-unit-block senior high schools and 40-unit market stores in the area with work progressing steadily.
"We want to put on record that Afife traditional area is receiving a fair share of the national cake under your presidency.
"We farmers are benefitting greatly from your policy; planting for food and jobs with subsidised fertilisers and other farm implements," he added.
