Presidential Advisor on Health, Dr Anthony Nsiah-Asare has supported Ahafo Ano South-East constituency with three motorbikes and ten bales of clothing to strengthen the New Patriotic Party’s campaign activities in the December polls.

The gesture was also geared towards boosting the fortunes of the Parliamentary Candidate for the area on the ticket of the NPP, Francis Manu Adabor.

The Presidential Advisor had earlier supported Atwima-Kwanwoma and Ahafo Ano South constituencies with similar items in the same direction.

During the presentation of the items, Dr Nsiah-Asare asked Ghanaians to see the December 7 process as a ‘thank you vote’ and vote massively for President Akufo-Addo and the NPP in appreciation of his achievements including.

Some of the achievement he said include, One District One Factory, Free SHS, One Village One Dam, One Constituency One Ambulance and the government-led intervention and relief items during at the peak of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

He added that Free SHS is one of the greatest achievements by the NPP while calling on Ghanaians to reject John Mahama and the NDC’s bid for a chance to man the affairs of the country.

“The NDC has knowledge deficit in the formulation of Free SHS policy and any attempt to bring them back to power will result in the collapse of Free SHS,” he emphasised.

He further posited that President Akufo-Addo is a compassionate leader who has the interest of the people at heart.

The Presidential Advisor explained that this was exhibited during his [Akufo-Addo's] directive to provide free meals for final year JHS students, and subsequently, JHS 2 students, their teachers and the staff when they resumed school.

He also said the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) is one of the best strategies in achieving Primary Health Care (PHC) and Universal Health Coverage (UHC).

According to him, the NPP’s belief in strengthening NHIS, supporting CHPS compounds with medical logistics and building capacity of staff.

Meanwhile, Dr Nsiah-Asare also encouraged the citizenry to wear face masks at all public gatherings for protection against COVID-19.
