The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ahafo Region has expressed its profound gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Gideon Boako who is the Economic Policy Advisor and Spokesperson for the Vice President.
This follows the donation of some logistics to the regional campaign team ahead of the December 7 polls.
In a communique issued and signed by the Secretary to the Ahafo Regional campaign team, Aduse Poku, the team acknowledged receipt of 1000 pieces of party t-shirts from Dr. Gideon Boako.
"The NPP branded t-shirts as we all know are in high demand and would go a long way to ameliorate the pressure on Parliamentary candidates and Constituency Executives," he said.
He disclosed that Dr. Gideon Boako has already donated 10 motorbikes to the Regional Campaign Team and has replicated the same in addition to a donation of a brand new pickup and other items to his mother Constituency, Tano North.
In an interview with Dr. Gideon Boako, he categorically stated that victory for his party in the December elections is non-negotiable and therefore challenged party’s members across all constituencies to unite and be vigilant to ensure a landslide victory for President Akufo-Addo.
He said even though he has already donated 10 motorbikes to the regional campaign team, 10 motorbikes and a pick up to Tano North Constituency, he still sees the need to provide the needed physical resources to energise the base of the party to motivate them to give off their best towards the victory of the party.
Dr. Boako admonished Ghanaians to give President Akufo-Addo four more years to rule because he has laid the foundation needed for the building of a sound nation in agriculture, education, health among others.
He urged all party members and sympathizers to shun internal squabbles and rally behind their respective parliamentary candidates in order to increase the party's parliamentary seats across the country.
