Entertainment critic Mr Logic has called out Foreign Minister, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway for her remarks on John Dumelo's bid for a parliamentary seat in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.

While campaigning for Lydia Alhassan, the Minister took a swipe at actor John Dumelo indicating that Parliament is a place for serious business and not for movie actors.

Mr Logic has, therefore, asked Shirley to render an apology to the Creative Art industry.

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Mr Logic was unhappy that the words of the Anyaa Sowutuom MP.

"What she said affects all of us…People think we are vagabonds just because they don’t know what we are about. If this is what she thinks, then she has no regard for us," he said.

The artiste manager called on President Nana Akufo-Addo to compel her to apologise for her comments.

"I think the President should bring her to order and she must be made to apologise executively."

Mr Logic told Andy Dosty that the Creative Arts sector is as important as any other sector and deserves to be treated with equal respect.

"The creative arts sector has taken centre stage in all discussions relating to this election. As a matter of fact, we are all fighting for the same cause," he added.

The artiste manager further stressed that despite his position as a strong activist for the New Patriotic Party, he is against that statement, which downplays the role the creative industry plays in national development.

"As a strong NPP activist, I will not support this kind of agenda. John Dumelo is an NDC man but he is still my brother."

He added that if the Foreign Minister fails to apologise the NPP could lose votes from people in the creative art sector.

"If she doesn’t apologise, it will affect us…. They will think NPP has no vision or mind," he added.
