President Akufo-Addo addressed the nation tonight on measures his administration has taken to curb the spread of Covid-19.
His 20th televised address comes off at a time when the country prepares to celebrate Christmas.
Ghana first recorded Covid-19 in March, since then, government has imposed a number of restrictions to curtail the spread.
However, in his recent addresses, the President has gradually eased some of the restrictions to bring back normality in the country.
According to the Ghana Health Service, the country has so far recorded 53,653 with 52,331 recoveries and 331 deaths leaving 991 active cases.
