The president of the Apostolic Church Ghana has urged motorists and passengers to be cautious on the road during and after the Christmas session.
Apostle Dr Aaron Ami-Narh's comment comes ahead of the Christmas festivities, during which the country records a relatively higher number of road accident leading to loss of life and injures.
Speaking to JoyNews after dedicating a church auditorium to the Madina area, he also cautioned motorists to end the habit of taking in alcohol before driving.
“We want to ask all our drivers and those who drive that they should make sure they observe traffic rules because during such periods we have so many needless accidents,” he advised.
He also advised passengers to chastise reckless drivers whose vehicles they travel in.
The pastor said, "If you are sitting in a vehicle and the driver is driving carelessly please caution him and make sure you don’t allow him to toy with your life.”
Dr Aaron Ami-Narh, however, pleaded with the public to drink responsibly during the festive session.
