The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has reported that Ghana recorded no case of cholera in the year 2020.
Director-General of the Ghana Health Service Dr Patrick who spoke to JoyNews attributed the success chalked to the safety protocols set up to combat the Covid-19 pandemic.
Dr. Patrick Aboagye noted that all Senior High Schools have been mapped to health facilities across the country upon reopening of schools as announced by President Akufo-Addo in his 21st address on the coronavirus pandemic.
According to him, the Ghana Health Service conducted an assessment on several health institutions to ensure these facilities are well equipped.
