Chairman of Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs, Frank Annoh-Dompreh has indicated that the NPP side will as a matter of urgency reach out to the NDC side to seek their support in the 8th Parliament.
This follows the ruling party's decision to appoint him as Chief Whip in the next Parliament.
Reacting to the news, he entreated both sides of the political divide to reflect and work together for the smooth running of parliamentary affairs.
“We have to respect the emphatic decision of the people of this country and be guided accordingly,” he said.
He further stated that he will work effectively in his capacity as Chief Whip to “serve the party with good commitment and devote myself to the service of Parliament and my country.”
Frank Annoh-Dompreh has served the New Patriotic Party from grassroot in various capacities as a polling station, constituency and regional executive, and research assistant at the Danquah Institute.
He has on three consecutive occasions won the Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency parliamentary ticket and served as the Chairman of the parliament committee on Foreign affairs.
