The Lands Minister-designate, Samuel Abu Jinapor has clarified his political relationship with his brother, John Jinapor who is a member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
During his vetting on Wednesday, the Damongo MP indicated that although the Yapei-Kusawgu MP is his blood brother, their political ideologies are different.
As such, he stressed that there is no way he will allow their relations to influence his affiliation to the governing New Patriotic Party.

“The assumption is that we live in the same home but we don’t. I am a married man with four children and he is also a married man with three children. So we live very independent lives.
“What I can say for myself and him is that we are both very committed to our respective political parties. I don’t intend to go further than that,” he told Parliament’s Appointment Committee.
Mr Jinapor, however, stated that he has a very cordial relationship with his brother just as any siblings in the world.
