The Ministry of Information held a press briefing today to update Ghanaians on the recent development in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
Information Minister Kojo Oppong together with the Director-General of Ghana Health Service, Dr Patrick Kuma Aboagye addressed reports on the alleged theft of some 50 Covid-19 vaccines from some government hospitals.
Also, a recent update that Ghana has identified two new variants of the Covid-19 virus, B.1 and B.1.525 which according to a cancer research company, Yemaachi Biotech has been in circulation since March was discussed.
