The Ghana Education Service (GES) on April 6, announced that it had rescheduled the reopening for Senior High School (SHS) Form 3 students to May 5.
In a Facebook post, it said this was after management considered a proposal from the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools (CHASS) stating “this applies to all Form 3 students (single track and double track schools). Further details will be announced. All other arrangements on the calendar remain unchanged.”
Today on PM Express, the host Evans Mensah and his guests will take a look at the congestion in schools brought on mostly by the introduction of Free SHS.
The guests include Head of PR Unit Ghana Education Service, Cassandra Twum-Ampofo, President, Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools, Alhaji Yacoub Abubakar, Deputy Ranking Member, Education Committee of Parliament, Dr. Clement Apaak, Executive Director of Africa Education Watch, Kofi Asare, and Gertrude Tennison Razak.
