The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) has extended the deadline for submission of 2020 audited financial statements and first-quarter unaudited financial statements for four listed companies.
The firms are Trust Bank Plc, Bond Savings & Loans Plc, Dannex Ayrton Starwin Plc and SIC Insurance Company Plc.
Whereas Trust Bank, Bond Savings and Loans and Dannex Ayrton Starwin Plc have up to June 30, 2021 to submit their financial statements, SIC Insurance has up to May 31, 2021 to do so.
It is unclear why the GSE gave the companies additional time to submit their financial statements, which is a requirement under its Listing Regulations.
The GSE had earlier granted such opportunity to listed banks and other institutions.
In March, 2021, it extended the deadline for submission of the 2020 Audited Financial Statements for six institutions. This comes after the firms applied for the extension.
They were; Fank Milk, Trust Bank of The Gambia, Dannex Ayrton Starwin, Letshego Ghana Savings and Loans,  Daakye Trust Plc and E.S.L.A.
