A group calling itself Bole Constituency Youth of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Savannah Region has served notice of its readiness to resist a possible comeback of Veronica Alele Herming as DCE for the second time in office.
The group therefore called on President Akufo-Addo and the NPP hierarchy not to entertain her again as her tenure created deep cracks leading to mistrust and disunity among the party’s rank and file in the constituency.
Addressing the press at Bole, the spokesperson Adams Abdulai said "significantly we are to alert the President, the National Executives, Regional executives and constituency Executives that the time of Madam Veronica Alele Herming as a DCE is over and should not be occasioned to rule again."
"Principally, Madam Alele's virtue to rule is been damaged by her poor showing of bad relationship among the party pyramid in the constituency of which we the youth forms a bulk of the inept behaviour of Madam Alele towards the youth resulted in the lowly and abysmal performance of the party in the 2020 general elections," he said.

"She has been noted for poorly recognizing and working with party structure. That is the constituency executives, council of elders and opinion leaders among others."
The youth also blamed the DCE for mismanaging the Assembly’s vehicles, many of which they say are currently broken down.
"We are not say everything, but more than 13 fleet of vehicles including two tractors, three refuse trucks and one Donfeng truck and Nissan patrols among others have been lost due to improper management by her," the spokesperson continued.
Mr Adams Abdulai also indicated that, "what seems obvious to everyone else, she misses. Her effect is something that she completely misses, because she aware of her bad impact on the party in the constituency and national as well , or she is humbly disingenuous.
Meanwhile, attempts by JoyNews to reach out to Mrs Herming for her comments were unsuccessful as she was said to have travelled outside the region.
