It was on April 20 when a rainstorm ripped off Kusanaba Senior High School in Bawku West District of the Upper East Region.
The incident affected the school's administration block, classrooms and some houses in Kusanaba area.
Several properties running into millions of cedis were destroyed.

An ongoing dining hall project for the school was not spared either. Electric cables were also brought down by the rainstorm.
The power supply to the school was affected and therefore the mechanized boreholes cannot supply water to various parts of the school.
Residents, teachers and students described the incident as disastrous because it left many of them without accomodation.

Several appeals to government and other stakeholders were unsuccessful two months after the incident.
The school is yet to receive support from the Ghana Education services.
No attempt has been made in any form to assure school authorities of any intervention.
Headmaster of the school, Daniel Abugri and his teachers are compelled to hold meetings and conduct other activities under trees in the school.
Mr. Abugri says the situation is disturbing as it is hectic operating headmaster's office under a tree.
"There is no place to run our daily activities in the school," he explained.
Mr. Abugri appeals to government, old students and any spirited individuals to come to their aid.
