JLD & MB Legal Consultancy has been adjudged as the Ghana Law Firm of the Year by the International Financial Law Review (IFLR) 1000, at the IFLR Awards 2021 held on September 9, 2021.
IFLR1000 is a global legal ranking organisation that has been conducting research on the world’s leading financial and corporate law firms and lawyers since 1990.
Its reviews cover over 750 practice area law firm rankings and more than 19,000 lawyers across more than 235 jurisdictions globally.
The IFLR 1000 annual law firm rankings are based on three key criteria: corporate transactions; financial transactions and client feedback.

Last year’s winners included ALN, Bowmans, Linklaters, Allen & Overy, Clifford Chance, Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie and for Ghana- Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa & Ankomah.
Other law firms that were shortlisted for the 2021 National Law firm of the Year Award for Ghana this year are Bentsi-Enchill Letsa & Ankomah, ENSafrica Ghana and N Dowuona & Company.
