Bofoakwa Tano bowed out of the Division One League Super League in style after recording a 2-1 win over Bibiani Gold Stars on Sunday.
The last round of games in Group A saw Bofoakwa earn their first win of the competition against rivals Bibiani Gold Stars, who exit the competition with just one point.
Both teams went into the half-time break with a goal each in the opening 45 minutes but it was Bofoakwa Tano who added to their first-half strike after the recess to seal all maximum points on the day.
Tema Youth were held to a one all draw by Skyy Football Club in the other Group A encounter.
Emmanuel Mamatah gave Skyy an early lead after just three minutes lead, holding onto it into the break. However, Tema-based club drew level after the interval to salvage a point on match-day three.
The results meant that Tema Youth finished top of the group with 7 points with Skyy falling two short behind them in second.
Bofoakwa finished third with 3 points while Bibiani Gold Stars were rock-bottom of the group with just a point.
On Monday, Samartex will host Berekum Arsenals at the Madina Astro Turf while RTU engage Accra Lions at the McDan Park.
