A youth group in the Ashanti Region has endorsed energy expert, Kwadwo Poku, to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 general elections.
According to the Ashanti Youth for Good Governance, “Mr Kwadwo Poku has worked on various projects for years at different levels in the energy sector. He brings excellent credentials to the aforementioned position with a strong 24 years of practical business experience.”
In a statement dated January 27, 2022, the group highlighted that Kwadwo Poku’s has a track record and charismatic leadership qualities that qualify him to be president on the ticket of the NPP.
“ Kwadwo Poku is honest, has zero-tolerance for corruption, works smart, innovative, the right man to lead this country and its people to prosperity.”
“We, the members of Ashanti Youth for Good Governance, believe he has what it takes to steer this country to the promised land. A country every Ghanaian Youth would be proud of. We are endorsing Mr Kwadwo Poku because he is keenly concerned about the total neglect of this home region and the lack of hope for the Youth in the Ashanti region,” they said.
“As an energy expert and experienced Entrepreneur, he understands the issues of the youth better and is committed to empowering the youth through skill training when he gets the opportunity to lead this great country.”
