Afropop artiste Obibini Takyi Junior (OTJ) has predicted a win for the Black stars ahead of the first leg of Ghana versus Nigeria World Cup Qualifiers.
The singer believes the scoreline would be 2-1 against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
“I follow football, and I know what I’m talking about when I say that Ghana will win 2:1 against Nigeria,” he said in an interview.
He, however, cautioned Ghanaians to be wary of betting ahead of the game slated for Friday, March 25.
He said people risk losing a lot of money if they bet irresponsibly.
“The youth nowadays indulge in betting a lot, and if you lose, your money is gone, so this also inspired me to compose that song,” he added.
Ghana and Nigeria are battling for a spot in the 2022 World Cup expected to be held in Qatar.
Ghana will play Nigeria in the 1st leg on Friday, March 25, 2022, at 19:30GMT at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
They will then travel four days later to Abuja for the second leg at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.
Meanwhile, the Head Coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo, has revealed the players are in good condition ahead of the FIFA World Cup qualifier playoff against Nigeria.
Addo, who is set to lead the team as the head coach for the first time, believes his men are gunning to go in Kumasi.
“I have had enough time. The players are ready and in good shape. We have done a lot in training, and I hope that we can show what we have done to Ghanaians,” the former Black Stars player told the media on Thursday.
The gaffer also calmed the fears and scepticism amongst the supporters, adding that it is normal to feel that away ahead of a clash of this nature.
