The People’s National Convention (PNC) has suspended two of its members, namely; Awudu Ishaque and Mark Ewusi Ackor.
In a press release signed by the Acting Chairman and Leader of the party, Bala Saliu Maikankan, said the duo engaged in “distasteful conduct.”
According to the statement, their acts have the propensity to thwart the party’s reorganization agenda.

“This distasteful conduct of the duo has the propensity of undermining the reorganisation agenda of the PNC to go into the 2024 general elections, and hence the Party has suspended their membership until further notice.”
The party is thus asking the media not to engage the duo on any issues concerning the party.
“The media and the general public are advised not to engage Awudu Ishaque and Mark Ewusi in their dealings with the Party and that, they do that at their own risk.”
Meanwhile, it said it is focused on organizing its internal elections.
“The Party is focused on organising its internal elections and wishes to complete the Polling Stations/Branches, Constituencies and Regional elections by the first week of February 2023.”
