The Anglican Communion, Ghana in collaboration with the British High Commission in Ghana on Friday held a Thanksgiving Service in honour of the late Queen Elizabeth II at the Cathedral Church of the Most Holy Trinity in Accra.
The two hour solemn event was attended by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Chief of Staff, Madam Frema Opare, British High Commissioner to Ghana, Harriet Thompson, Chief of Gbese, Nii Ayi Bonte II who was accompanied by his elders and Queen mothers.
Along side the Thanksgiving Service there was a colorful display of Ga culture, firing of musketry, drumming and dancing.
