A Ghanaian identified only as Eric has been shot and killed at Dompim in the Western Region allegedly by Chinese miners working in a forest close to the Bonsa River.
Three Chinese miners have been arrested in connection with the killing.
The incident which happened on Friday, was said to have taken place close to the illegal mining areas at Dompim which was captured in the recent JoyNews documentary, Destruction for Gold.
An eyewitness at the shooting scene claims Eric had gone to the site to collect proceeds from the gold miners but was gunned down by the Chinese miners.
