Ghana international Inaki Williams ended his goal drought on Tuesday, April 4, after scoring in Athletic Bilbao's game against Osasuna.
The forward scored the opening goal of the encounter as Bilbao hosted Osasuna in the second leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final tie.
Before scoring against Osasuna, Inaki had not scored in 17 games for both club and country which has led to several criticisms. His last goal came against Udinese in a friendly game back in December.
His last competitive goal, however, was against Villarreal in October 2022, which makes it 23 competitive appearances without a goal.
However, the player will feel relieved after a goal in a long while.
