Ghana international Nathan Opoku has been named Oud-Heverlee Leuven's Player of the Month for the month of April after scoring his first goals for the club.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a stellar month after scoring three goals and providing an assist in three games to help his side climb up the Belgian League table.
Opoku joined Leuven on loan during the January transfer window from Leicester City having penned a permanent deal with the Foxes in the winter window.
In the game against Mechelen, the Ghanaian scored and provided an assist on his first home start for the club as they went on to record a 4-1 victory at the Den Dreef Stadium.
Opoku also netted in the 4-0 thumping of Oostende away from home a week later to record his second goal for the Belgian outfit before making it three goals in three consecutive games in the 3-2 win over Standard Liege.
With four goal involvements to his name in April, there was no competition for the youngster as he clinched the club's Player of the Month award, his first since his arrival.
He started four of his seven games for the club and has an average of 48 minutes per game.
