In the same vein, another Ghanaian artist, Camidoh, participated in the BET Viewers Choice: Best New International Act 2023 category.
However, despite his talent and fanbase, Camidoh narrowly missed out on the award, which was ultimately clinched by the Cameroonian singer/songwriter Libianca. Nevertheless, Camidoh's nomination itself served as a testament to his growing influence and recognition on an international scale.
Despite the outcome for Camidoh, the West African nation of Ghana had a strong representation at the renowned international award ceremony.
