Joy FM has launched the second edition of the ‘Joy Jingle Challenge.’
The ‘Joy Jingle Challenge’ offers a platform for listeners to sing the correct lyrics and melody of a particular Joy FM jingle.
This challenge is aimed at knowing how well Joy FM listeners are connected to the brand and how familiar they are with the station’s identity.
This year, participants will be singing a Joy FM jingle created and performed by Ghanaian music producer Morris Babyface.
To take part in the ‘Joy Jingle Challenge’:
1. Listen to the Joy FM jingle carefully
2. Record a video of yourself singing along to the jingle (lyrics must be accurate)
3. Post on your social media page (TikTok, Facebook or Instagram), tag @joy997fm and use the hashtag #JoyJingleChallenge, or send video to us via WhatsApp on 0551111997.
The entries with the highest engagements on the various platforms will be selected, after which the participants will be invited to perform live on Joy 99.7 FM.
According to Edem Knight-Tay, the Programme Manager of Joy FM, the "deadline for submission of entries is July 5, 2023."
The shortlisted participants will eventually stand a chance of winning an all-expense paid trip to Dubai in August.
Last year, Ruby Aryeh, a Digital Marketer based in Accra emerged winner of the maiden edition of the ‘Joy Jingle Challenge’.
As part of her prize, Ruby was taken on all-expenses paid trip (sponsored by Adansi Travels) to Dubai on September 11, 2022.
In addition to the trip, Ruby also took home a package from Labadi Beach Hotel.
