Ghanaian midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana has completed a transfer to Serie A side Cagliari from rivals Hellas Verona.
The midfielder has signed a deal which keep him at the club until June 2027 after impressing in his first season in the Italian top flight.
Sulemana was promoted to Hellas Verona's senior team ahead of the start of the 2022/23 season after playing with the club's U-19s following his arrival from Atalanta where he first settled following his departure from Ghana.
The 20-year-old made his debut for the club in October 2022 coming on as a substitute in Verona's 1-2 loss to Salernita.
He went on to play a total of 17 games in the Serie A and started the relegation decider as his side defeated Spezia to stay in the Italian top flight for another season.
However, the youngster will now join Cagliari, who only returned to the top flight after beating Bari in the promotion playoff under the guidance of Claudio Ranieri.
Ranieri was key to Sulemana accepting the offer from Cagliari in a deal which was negotiated by ArthurLegacysports.
The player's entourage was also approached by Bologna following his maiden campaign in the Italian top flight.
