Saturday, July 22nd edition of JoyNews’ Newsfile delved into the Sanitation Minister, Cecilia Dapaah’s stolen foreign currencies as well as a stash of Ghana cedis from her residence.
This conversation arose as the two househelps are reported to have made off with the money and other properties, prompting Ghanaians to question why the minister is keeping such a large sum of money at home rather than in a bank.
An anti-corruption crusader, Vitus Azeem has also expressed concern about how she obtained such funds and asked the Office of the Special Prosecutor, the Commission of Human Rights and Administrative Justice, and the Ghana Revenue Authority to investigate the Minister.
The raising of quorum issues in Parliament by both sides of the House for business in a hung Parliament of 275 legislatures was also looked at.
The final topic under discussion was the New Patriotic Party's flagbearership race, in which aspirants are calling for a free and fair election in the super delegates congress on August 26.
