Reggie Zippy, one of the Ghanaian music duo, Reggie ‘n’ Bollie, has divorced his wife of 15 years, Edith.
The UK-based Ghanaian singer shared the unfortunate news on his social media pages on Friday, August 18, 2023.
In the shared post, he apologised to Edith and his kids for not being the best husband and father.
“As of Friday, 11th august 2023 at 12:00noon, I am no longer a married man after 15 years of being extremely irresponsible and wicked towards my children and their mother.”
“And I apologise to them for my unacceptable behavior,” he said.
Reggie said that he is currently at peace with himself and is looking forward to a positive life ahead. He added that he will continue to love his three children at all times no matter the circumstances.
"I am finally at peace and can clearly see where I went wrong or right and I am very happy to be embracing the next chapter of my beautiful, exciting and positive life of peace and adventure."
“All I know is, I love all 3 of my children whether I get to see them, talk to them or not,” he said.
The divorce announcement came as a shock to many of their fans. The couple had been together for over 20 years and had been married for 15 years.
They have three children together - two sons and a daughter. The reasons for their split are still unclear.
