Prophet Nigel Gaisie has seemingly backtracked on a prophecy he made about musician Black Sherif.
The pastor had earlier posted on social media about seeing an inauspicious vision of the rapper/songwriter and urged his family to pray for him.
“Let the family of *Sheriff Black*...PRAY FOR HIM AND TALK TO HIM DEEPLY, I DIDN'T LIKE WHAT I SAW ABOUT HIM SOME FEW MINUTES AGO.....Life Is PRICELESS. I saw the mother crying uncontrollably *** (if nothing is done about this, Ghana will not hear good news before December)," the posts read.
However, when asked about the prophecy in an interview on UTV’s United Showbiz, Prophet Gaisie insisted that people misconstrued him.
He explained that the name he saw in his vision was “Sheriff Black” and not “Black Sherif”.
But, despite this, he stayed away from clarifying whether the prophecy could be about the musician Ghanaians love; insisting that visions appear figuratively sometimes and one is unable to see the full picture.
“We see in bits and prophesy in bits,” he added.

Prophet Gaisie stated that as such, a wise person can make projections, deduce from the prophecy and take the needed actions to avoid the said misfortune.
He stated that he and his prayer warriors have already begun praying and urged whoever the prophecy concerns to wake up and pray.
He added that prophecy is not about fear but to alert and so it is important for people to be on guard and pray for life.
Prophet Gaisie added that should the vision appear once again he would repeat it; adding that spiritual things are not to be played with.
