Following the successfully executed presidential primaries of the New Patriotic Party held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, the national leadership of the NPP on Sunday, November 5, visited Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia at Cantonments.
The purpose of the visit was to extend warm felicitations to Dr. Bawumia on his resounding victory as the chosen flagbearer of the NPP, according to National organiser Henry Nana Boakye, who posted details of the visit on his Facebook page on Monday, November 6, 2023..
According to him, the atmosphere was charged with unity and enthusiasm as the leaders of the NPP gathered at the Vice President's residence.

During this visit, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the newly elected leader and presidential candidate of the NPP, seized the opportunity to reinforce his commitment to fostering unity within the party.
With an unwavering dedication to the NPP's ultimate success, Dr. Bawumia vowed to lead the party cohesively as a united force.

In a passionate address, the Vice President expressed his determination to deliver victory for the NPP in the forthcoming general elections, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
He emphasised that the key to success lies in the collective efforts of the party, and he pledged to harness the party's strengths to secure a triumphant outcome at the polls.

The visit and Dr. Bawumia's heartfelt assurances have ignited a renewed sense of purpose and enthusiasm among NPP members and supporters, as noted by Nana B.
"With the upcoming general elections on the horizon, the NPP stands united under the leadership of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, as they march forward with determination and solidarity, driven by the vision of securing victory for the New Patriotic Party,” he said.
