Ampem Darkoa Ladies head coach, Joe Nana Adarkwa, says their 2023 CAF Women's Champions League semifinal clash against Sporting Club Casablanca is like a final.
The Ghana champions will take on the Moroccan club at the Stade Laurent Pokou in San Pedro, Ivory Coast today, Wednesday, with both teams vying for a place in the final.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of the game, Adarkwa disclosed both sides have good background information about each other but is confident his team will emerged victorious.
“Every semifinal is like a final; very tough. We know we are going to have a very good game tomorrow," he said.
“Definitely they know us and we know them [as well]. They have watched our games and we have also watched their games but In Sha Allah, we are going to win the game.
“Any war that you are going, you don’t need defeat. You predict win, you work for it and you get it.”
The game will kick off at 8 pm, with the winner facing AS FAR or Mamelodi Sundowns who will engage in the other semifinal game.
