Ghana midfielder, Ibrahim Sulemana, came off the bench to rescue a point for Cagliari against his former club, Hellas Verona, on Monday afternoon in the Italian Serie A.
It was his second goal of the season and his first appearance in over a month.
The 20-year-year was brought into the game by Claudio Renieri to replace Alessandro Deiola when Cagliari were also already trailing at the Unipol Domus Stadium in a Serie A round 30 clash.
Frederico Bonazzoli had given Hellas Verona the lead after just half an hour before another was disallowed just after the break.
Two minutes after coming on, Ibrahim Sulemana netted a sumptuous goal from a rebound to level the game for the home side. The game ended 1-1 as there were no further goals.
This season, Sulemana has featured in 14 Serie A games: starting 11 of them, and scored two goals in those.
He joined Cagliari in the summer from Hellas Verona after the former’s promotion to the Italian top flight.
