Nigerian musician Tiwa Savage has addressed rumours that she does not support her female colleagues in the music industry following heavy criticisms on social media, in recent times.
The singer responded to the claims for the first time after the magazine Top Charts Africa compiled a list of Afrobeats songs from female artistes on the continent.
The list included Tiwa Savage's collaborations with Waje, Ayra Starr, Amaare and Becca.
Writing underneath their post, Tiwa Savage noted that her list of collaborations with female artistes is not exhaustive adding that the post does not capture the many others.
“But they always want to say Tiwa Savage does not like or support female artistes. Please who has more female collabs and there is sooo many more not even listed here. Yall miss me with that bull sh$t narrative, I dey hustle money on my mind [sic]," she stated.
Also, taking to her Instagram story, the 'All Over' hitmaker shared screenshots of some of the collaborations with female musicians both in Africa and beyond.
Again, she recently teased a collaboration with her Nigerian colleague Simi titled ‘Men Are Crazy.’
This has also drawn both criticism and support from fans.
