Over the week, the Office of the Attorney General and Ministry of Justice advised the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) against initiating money laundering investigations into the dealings of former Sanitation Minister, Cecilia Dapaah.
Also, the Kwadaso MP, Prof. Kingsley Nyarko was caught on camera handing an envelope suspected to contain cash to some Electoral Commission (EC) officials at a polling centre during the by-election at Ejisu.
He has, however, denied that his gesture was an attempt to bribe the EC officials. The police and OSP have begun investigations into the incident.
Lastly, the Electoral Commission has rejected allegations that it sneaked out 10 Biometric Verification Devices (BVDs) for recycling at a loss to the state.
Today on Newsfile, the host Samson Lardy Anyenini and the guests will delve into these issues.
