The Minister of Finance, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam is urging officials of the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) to work hard to exceed expectations.
In a tweet after visiting the Aflao Border post yesterday with the GRA Commissioner-General, Julie Essiam and Customs Commissioner, Brigadier-General Ziblim Ayorrogo, Dr. Amin Adam said he was highly impressed by the energy and drive of the staff of the GRA at the Aflao border.
“I visited the Aflao border post yesterday with the GRA Commisoner-General, Julia Essiam and Brigadier-General Ziblim Ayorrogo, Customs Commissioner. Highly impressed by the energy and drive of Ghana Revenue staff at Aflao. I urged them to continue to work hard to exceed expectations”, he mentioned”.

The Finance Minister is on an aggressive mission to ensure the country meet its revenue target.
The government has projected GH¢176.4 billion revenue in 2024, about 22% higher than the 2023 target.

Out of this, total tax revenue is estimated GH¢146 billion.
